With the spring semester behing us, it is now time to start competing for those summer internship oppertunities. High Plains Federal Credit Union does have a few different intnern positions available. If you have interest in Project Planning, Data Analysis, Member Service, and Technology roll be sure to submit your application. Young New Mexicans are out pursuring their dreams in every which way. For Albuquerque's Jessica Montoya her next career move has her as a finalist for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleadering squad.
Jessica A. Montoya is a proud Rio Grande alumni as well as a UNM lobo. She was even a member of the Chapparral Dance Team. She then decided to follow her passion and love for performing and moved to New York City to pursue a bachelors degree in Musical Theatre and Dance at Pace University. During her time in New York she danced in Madison Square Garden as a member of the New York Titans Lacrosse Teams Siren Dancers. Later she became a New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleader, where she entertained 80,000 fans at every home game. Jessica then went on to receive her masters degree in Media and Communication Arts as she wanted to be well rounded in all aspects of entertainment both on stage and behind the scenes. After performing commercially and theatrically on the east coast, Jessica decided to go on a 6 month contract at sea with Norwegian Cruise Line as a dancer and aerialist. Jessica has now performed in over 6 countries to international audience members and continues her passion to travel. Next on her list is to become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Jessica has made it past preliminaries and semi-finals. On May 17, Jessica will compete against the returning veterans who are not promised their legendary uniform back! There are only a few coveted spots open on the team and Jessica is working her hardest to prove to the judges that she has what it takes to make the team!
