I love meeting new people and teaching them what I know but I have such a passion for learning as well. One thing I know about is saving, which for students is not the easiest thing. We’re adults and we’re in control of our own money but we can’t just throw it around we need to conserve it for the more important things like school and transportation. So what I do to make sure I always have money saved is put 25% of my pay check into my savings and forget about it unless I absolutely need it then 50% into my checking and the rest in cash; and the best and easiest way to do that is through NM Energy FCU. That’s where I have my account. They are always so nice, you can do online banking, they have the best rates and deals for students not to mention there’s a CU Anytime ATM at every corner so if you have an emergency your good. Moreover if you’re anything like me and don’t get your checks until late at night and can’t get to a ban k the next morning you can actually deposit your checks at home. Plus if you need clothes don’t reject thrift stores, and especially don’t be afraid of used books, movies, games and CD’s. In addition coupon clipping is always fun. Anyway that’s how I save my money as a student.
